One of the Shea brothers sent me my sisters obituary. I was shocked to see her husband described as “devoted” which he wasn’t and I questioned why the two daughters from his first marriage were now described as “their” daughters and these things need amending but I was told its too late it was already in print! Why pretend Perny was the mother of someone else’s daughters, did the real mother know? were the daughters happy with this pretence? I don’t know but in any event my sister had already cut both stepdaughters from her will.
