Perny Shea was always a happy friendly person who had so many friends through business and her personal life, she was popular and fun but over the last few years she became depressed and was hiding her true emotions. She had to battle abuse from her husband Bill Shea and deal with his addictions.

He does have genuine health issues and these constant hospitalisations and huge costs of treatment for things that were self-inflicted and genuine illnesses put a huge strain on not only their finances but their relationship which once had been happy and stable.

Perny said her husband had changed totally and she just did not know which way to turn and how to deal with him. I think she became worn down by these issues that she was hiding and could not cope any longer
